It is a very exciting prospect to implement bespoke software that will help to improve the logistics of your company, but it is also quite a scary decision...! Picton Sports Ltd is a very diverse company with lots of complicated structures that required traceability of work flow for a factory setting, working along side a complicated retail area and finally completed by an accounts package. Bluebox have invested the time and energy into creating this requirement, and have provided an outstanding service and after care. It is never a problem for them to help! I never had the time to thank you guys properly, Firstly if I look back prior to November 2014 I cannot imagine how we muddled through without Blue Box, I can honestly say that we have, for the first time, an accounting, costing, CRM and Sales system all in one. Prior to the installation I was extremely sceptical due to the fact that I have worked for before and were part of the development and product testing, as mentioned in some of our meetings, I have never seen versatile software like this; you always have either a weak accounting system with a strong CRM or the other way around, and most of the time you cannot change the dynamics of the software, here we have the best of both, if I look back at the items that stand out: Time Card Capturing Â· Raw Materials \/ Linked to Sales Order Â· Project Costing Â· Conversion of Quotes to Sales Orders Â· Lead Management Â· User Friendly Â· Cloud Bases Â· Unlimited Users Â· Development Cost If I look at the development cost over the last couple of months I can honestly say that the Bluebox team and support is real value for money, we have not just build a rock solid system but also a relationship that grows from strength to strength, all the staff have the confidence to phone Malcom and he has the patience to assist every user, I said to him yesterday I am going to build an office for him at Thermowise. Back in 2005, the Oceanographic Research Institute, a Division of the South African Association for Marine Biological Research, in collaboration with four other East African research organisations, was trying to work on an offline database that was shared across the western Indian Ocean - it just didn't work! We approached the BlueBox to make an online database for us that could be accessed from anywhere in the world. While our database has nothing to do with business management and everything to do with fisheries, BlueBox was able to design our database in a user friendly design that was perfect for our needs. Over the years they have provided excellent support including when we have been on remote islands in the middle of the Indian Ocean. We have just gone through a much needed redevelopment of our database after 11 years. The process was made so easy through the friendly and efficient interactions with BlueBox personnel and the new database meets all our needs. I am sure that the users will thoroughly enjoy using the database that has an up-to-date feel and is far easier to use.<\/p>

Carers FIRST in Kent & Medway are a dedicated carers centre providing a range of services to carers and their families in West Kent and Medway. A fundamental requirement of our contracts to deliver such services commissioned by Kent County Council, Medway Council and West Kent CCGs is to report on data specified by our funders. We however from the beginning wanted to go further and have a database that not only gave basic data to our commissioners, but allowed us to link performance to inputs to outputs. Our Bluebox database has allowed us to construct exactly what we required. This has been the best investment this charity has made. It has put us â€œahead of the gameâ€ and allowed us to present data in any form we want and run reports that answer all of our commissioners questions whatever they may be. We like to describe our database as \"state of the art\" and it is not overstating the truth to do so. I would recommend any organisation that is serious about outcomes and data analysis to approach Bluebox. Certainly the best decision we at Carers First made.<\/p>

We have worked with Bluebox to develop our Loyalty\/Discount program. We have found Paul and his team to be very efficient and helpful with a passion to deliver only the best product possible. Taylor Made Designs supply branded clothing \/ uniforms and promotional products to multi-site organisations all over the UK and now parts of the EU. Before we met Paul and Michelle and the Blue Box (BB) team we were working with Sage line 50 for accounts and order processing, and Magento for the web stores to take the orders. This system was very slow and disjointed and was hindering our growth. The two main reasons were because we were working with two systems and that Sage is an accounts system, not an order processing system. So it kept crashing. We had looked at several other software systems that would have done the job for us but they were expensive and not bespoke for our needs. When we met Paul BB he demonstrated the BB system and we were very impressed with what the system could potentially do for us. Since then Paul and the team have worked with us to tweak and develop BB into almost our own bespoke system. The first few weeks were scary and placed us in a state of disarray, but once we all started getting used to the system things settled down quickly, and that is when we all realised how powerful the software was and how much of a transformation it was going to have on our business. Under Paul & Michelle's supervision we worked with the new system for about 4 weeks to get used to it. Then we started to say to the BB team, can you make it do this ? can you make it do that ? and the answer was usually \"yes\". We had a lot of communication with Paul and Michelle in the first six months to get the system working for us. We had regular on site meetings to discuss and resolve questions and issues. Now we are nearly a year on and we are used to the system we are very happy with it. It has made a big difference to the running and efficiency of the whole business. The web stores are quick and easy to create and manage. The customers find them easier to use. Because the system holds so much data and information, our accounts department are able to see everything they need to see on their screen at any time. We have been able to streamline all our internal procedures to the point that we have recently taken on 2 new contracts and not have to take on any more office staff. We are very pleased with the BB system and what Paul and Michelle have done for us and all of us at TMD would thoroughly recommend it.<\/p>

They have built a bespoke voucher redemption system for us that integrates with our own proprietary system. The build was seamless and was delivered on time and to specification and the system itself has changed the way that we work, making us far more efficient and giving us reporting we never had. Nothing is ever too much hassle for the BlueBox team and they are always prepared to go above and beyond which is very unusual in the development world! We are very grateful to The BlueBox and how they have helped us develop as a business. We started using their voucher management system, to track the status of our vouchers, and also allow our clients to redeem their vouchers through the system as well. This has now developed from not just a voucher redemption system, but is a place that collates all our data, from all the events that we attend, sales reports and accounts. Bluebox have created us 'our bible'. Without it, we would probably need at least 2 more members of staff, on full time salaries, to do the job that the Bluebox VMS does. In addition to this, the team is incredible. We have Sam as our dedicated account manager and she has been amazing for us. As we keep asking for more from our VMS, the answer we are always given is \"The system can do anything you want it to - Anything is possible\". Which is great for us, and means that we haven't needed to have multiple CRM systems, and Bluebox have created us a system where we have everything we need in one place. Also, their turn around times on everything we ask from them to develop for us, is always completed quickly and efficiently. We would highly recommend The BlueBox to anyone.<\/p>
